How to make image via [attach] tag larger

Can someone please help me with regards to making an image embedded into the post using the [attach] tag as a full size image? At the moment, vb 3.8 embeds a smaller image and then one has to click on it to view its full size.

What are your attachment size limits in the Attachment Manager for that file type? Do you have the 'Resize Images' setting set to Yes here:

Correct, the "resize images" setting is set to "Yes". Should I change it to "no"?
