Revert notices title back to default

A while ago I was trying to have a blank title for one of my Notices. So I simply made it into a dot (.)

However, I now want to change it back to the original "Notices" title, but forgotten how I did it. Can someone please remind me which file to modify?

    Thanks.

Can you give us a link to the page with an example of one of these notices please?

I can give you a screenshot if that helps. The issue is occuring in both the forum and the admincp. Please see attached.

I have a feeling this is done via a change to the actual database. Am I right?

          No

You need to edit a phrase called 'Notices'.
AdminCP > Languages & Phrases > Search in Phrases
Enter 'notices' in the 'Search for text' box, without quotes.
          Leave everything else as default.
          Press 'Find'.

You are looking for a result that is just called 'notices'. Second one down on my site but may vary.
Press the edit button on the right.
Delete anytghing in the text box (there's probably a dot in it, make sure it's removed).
To be certain, press "Copy Default Text" and it should place the correct word into the box.
          Save.
