Does vBulletin send out email notifications for Social Groups?

    Does vBulletin send out email notifications for Social Groups?

    For vBulletin 3.8 regarding Social Groups...

    When a user sends an invite to another user to join a particular Social Group, does vBulletin email that user a notification?

    I tested this out myself, and the invited user does receive a notification when they're logged into the forum showing they have an invitation to a social group, but I did not receive any email.

    And yes, email notifications for everything else works fine - New PM's, Subscribed Threads, etc.

    Is there a setting for this that I'm not seeing anywhere?

      I don't believe so - I certainly don't see a phrase for an email to do this...

      - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
      - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
