Hey,

I have a site from years ago and just tried it but for some reason it isn't working.

I found it on a backup on an old hard drive, I was checking it to get another license to upgrade but its not working, all database settings are correct but its still not working.

It was working fine before..

I'm not getting any emails for the errors so I really don't know what could be wrong, all I get on the site is:

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database

3.8.1 is not compatible with modern versions of php so the chances are that is your issue.

Without seeing the full database error though, we're just guessing.

Ultimately though we will struggle to get 3.8.1 working as it's too old and unsupported. It also has unpatched security flaws. 3.8.11 is the current version.
