How to edit the page width?

I want my forums page width to be like the on here the default is too wide for my liking..

how do I do this what shall I edit and where?

AdminCP->Styles & Templates -> Style Manager-> Select StyleVars from the drop-down menu of your style and click go

Then edit Main Table Width (pixels or percentage) and click save
