    MySQL 5.6

Are vb3.8 and vb4.2 compatible with MySQL 5.6?

If not, can they be made compatible with certain file / template edits?

I don't see anything that would prevent vBulletin from working. It still uses the same mysql and mysqli libraries provided by PHP. They'll use whatever client is built into the version of PHP they are using.
