Moving to new domain - but NOT new Server/Database

I have a 3.8 vb forum and I want to move it to a new domain. I'm using the same server and same databases, just slightly changing the name. The only different is instead of being located in a folder on the server called "A", it's now in a folder called "B".

Anyone know what to do, because everything I've tried isn't working.

    1. Update the URLs in includes/config.php
    2. Update the URLs in AdminCP > vBulletin Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details

That should be sufficient, however any links you have in posts etc where people have pasted full thread URLs in, will need manually updating as they will point to the wrong place.

Also bear in mind that your old URLs may well be in Google or other search engines, and these links will become "dead" which may cause you a problem. Though you can use redirects to get round this.

That's what I thought I had to do, but my config.php doesn't have the old URL listed anywhere.

        Check what's entered at $config['Misc']['forumpath'].

If it's blank then you should be ok with just the admincp changes.

Mark B. Thank you so very much for your help. I got everything moved... turns out it was a godaddy domain issue.

But, I do have one error still that I was hoping you could help with... everything moved beautifully except a few broken links which I quickly fixed, the only think that seems to have stopped working in my drop down menus (search, quicklinks, forum tools). I reverted all the templates and tried everything suggested when I googled the error. No luck. Any suggestions?
