Background Image Repeats

I've added a fixed background image to my forums which works fine until I visit a thread. Reading the post, the background image is repeated in the background although everywhere else it appears as it should.

Any suggestions please?

In the page background Extra CSS Attributes is where i've placed the code as it's not the body background I want to change. I'm no coder :

background: #BAC9D6 url(full/path/to/image) no-repeat top center;

"spacer_open" is the template that calls the "page" CSS class, and it happens to also repeat between postbits. I'm not sure there's an easy solution to this.

I've decided to scrap the idea and just used a fixed image as the body background http://www.stfraiders.com/forum/ Thanks for replying however.
