Removing images from RSS feeds?

Is there anyway to strip images from RSS feeds (as in RSS feeds collected by vBulletin and posted as threads)? They never format tidily, often break, and the html url shows up in the tread preview and looks really untidy. I'd like to be able to just strip them out completely.

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
