    Hello and thanks : I would like to know how to shut off the forum through the config file .. need to do some maintenance .

    You cannot. You need to disable it in the admincp.

      thanks . Anyway to repair the database for the forum ? thanks for the help . I'm getting a error's below .

        Your webhost should provide you with tools to access and repair your database.
        You can run queries directly on the database
