    Problems with E-mail from vBulletin

    Hi again guys.
Again, since i'm new to the forum i cant really tell if the problem has been there since day one.
Some members has complained about that they cant recive any mails from the forum, the mail doesn't even show up in the spam folder, so i did a experiment and sure enough, the claims is correct.
AOL/AIM, Zoho, iCloud, Yahoo, mail.com, inbox.com etc etc, i have tried them all and no one seems to be able to recive mails from the forum.

E-mail provider that does work that i tried so far is Hotmail, Gmail and some Swedish webmail.
Is it a bug or a setting? The only plugins that runs is IS Bot (bot protection) and Image resizer.

Run the Email Diagnostic under Maintenance -> Diagnostics. What is the output?

Are they being bounced back as blacklisted. Have you sent mail successfully via your email client?

Since the error only occurs with some providers, I didn't expect an error. However I wish you would post the output regardless of errors like previously asked.

Our forum does not run at English, so i guess you want understand what the output is saying
I think you misunderstood me there. The diagnostics gave no errors on any mail-address.
I've contacted our web hosting providers and they are looking into it.

Make sure the -F Parameter is enabled and that the bounce email address is a valid working email. You can do this under Settings -> Options -> Email Options

Also make sure your contact us and webmaster email addresses are valid and working email addressses on your server. These are under Settings -> Options -> Site Name / URL / Contact Details.

Finally if it continues to give problems make sure you have valid DNS entries on your server. Especially for Reverse DNS and MX Lookups. Your hosting provider may have to help with these.

After that, you'll need to contact the individual email providers and ask why they are blocking your domain and/or IP address.

                      Thanks Wayne Luke.
EDIT: Checked -f parameter and entered the webmaster address at "bounce email" field, and it solved the problem to a certain point.
AOL and some other free mail providers still dont recieve it
One more thing to do is to sort out why out site/ip is flagged as spam at some places.

There could be many causes, reverse dns, or a bad IP. Your host should help further on this.

If one site on a shared server spams, then all the sites can be blacklisted. Ask your hosting provider for your own IP address. They may charge you for it though.
