I am beyond frustrated!! I have used RSS Feed Manager for YEARS without any issues at all. I recently started a Wordpress blog on our homepage, (weusecoupons.com). Because many of our users are forum members exclusively, we created a RSS feed to auto post all of our blog posts into a specific forum. We had absolutely no issues with this.
The RSS feed (through feedburner): http://feeds.feedburner.com/weusecoupons/JaAk
The Forum where the RSS posts automatically: http://www.weusecoupons.com/upload/wuc-blog/
Now this works flawlessly. What is frustrating, is the because of the nature of our site, we post some things on our blog that are very specific to particular forums. For example we post a sale matchup for Harris Teeter (a store in the SE US) on our blog. We have burned a particular feed on feedburner for just posts associated with this store. We then set it up in RSS feed manager, and selected the appropriate forum (see picture), exactly like we did with the feed mentioned above. Everything looks perfect. I preview the feed, (see photo) I see it no problem. BUT when I click, 'Run Scheduled Tasks' nothing happens. I say, okay, maybe it needs a few hours even though it's set on 30 minutes. I even try resetting the feed. Nothing happens, days go by, new posts are created in that feed, and the feed is NOT posted in the forum, even new posts, though the feed does register them correctly. You can see the new posts in the preview but it does NOT post in the forum. ALL other feeds work perfectly, but these new specific feeds from our blog do not, except the one feed above, and the one below, Vons. I don't understand why this is happening especially when I can see it previewed.
What is more frustrating is that Vons RSS feed a store that is located in Southern California works just fine. I just did a test moments ago. You can see the feed here, the blog post here, and the post in the forum here. This is what is suppose to happen. But we have 70 different stores (only 20 are set up currently) with separate RSS feeds that post about twice a week. The majority 95% do not function correctly.
What I don't understand is why some work and some don't especially when they are set up identically in many cases except the forum they are posting in. Is it a setting I am missing? Is there a limit to the amount of feeds vB can handle, at one point I had about 90 feeds all operating with no issues, but they were not internal. Thanks for reading and the help!!
