Just to add, I did the manual patch instructions and it worked out fine.
Stress levels are now lowering.
Now I have to update another forum.

Shouldn't cause any issues, there's nothing in the files that would do that.

I attempted to apply the patch but instead it froze my forum and made the server load really high. I had to revert files before it crashed the server.. what could be causing this?Leave a comment:

The patch download for vBulletin 3.8.7 is a cumulative patch and includes all the files from PL1, PL2. and PL3 as well as the current patch. That is why it has more files within in.Leave a comment:

Because that only shows changes in two files, functions_misc.php and forumdisplay.php, whereas the patch file contains more files than that..Leave a comment:
