How To - hide closed forum

one of my forums has 4 subforums (child-forums). i don`t use the forum (doesn`t have any topics), i only use it`s 4 subforums, but i can still see it under the 4 subforums.

my problem is that i can still see it even after i closed it. i don`t want to see it, i only want to see the 4 subforums. look at the screeenshot, i don`t want to see that empty forum

i need suggestions on how to do this, mods or template edits... thank you

In the Forum Manager either set "Act as Forum" to No or "Forum is Open" to No.

i know that already, i was looking for other solutions
setting "Act as Forum" to No should do it BUT when i use that i looks "bad", like a category

the category uses that bar that delimitates forums and the subforums are also in it = looks bad

Copy the contents of forumhome_forumbit_level2_post into the forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost template.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
          Working...
