    Problems After Upgrade

I was running vBulletin 3.8.4 on one of my sites as well as vbPortal. I removed the vbPortal as I don't want to use it anymore, and upgraded to 3.8.7, but afterwards, I noticed some of the wording is missing from the forums.

I've checked everything I can come up with and nothing fixes the issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

One of the missing words is "Remember Me" by the login box...

In your Admin CP -> Phrse Manager find the GLOBAL phrase called: remember_me.

    Does it exist?
    Can you edit it?
Is there a translation? Is it blank?

Yup. It's there and I can edit it. I've re-uploaded styles and languages from the vB 3.8.7 package several times. Nothing helps.

        Try disabling hooks: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...ystem-globally

Done. Ugh! Everything is back. So it must be something I have installed then.

If I store CSS Stylesheets as Files, all of my styles go away. If I set them not to store as files in the AdminCP - everything is fine. What would cause that?

If you would like to store the CSS stylesheet for each style as a file, you must ensure that you have a directory called 'vbulletin_css' inside the 'clientscript' folder, and that the web server has permission to write and delete files within that directory.
Did you check that? What are the r/w permissions (chmod) of that directory?

Permissions of that directory are set to 755. The css files that are in there are chmod 644.

Those are the same settings I have. Can you try with the default style?

I only have one style installed which is the default style.

Go to Style Manager -> Add new Style -> Make a style with no parent and try with that style.
