    Login redirects to index.php

I'm having trouble with my login function. I redirects to index.php and does not login. I can't even login in to my admin section. I saw the archived thread about the same problem recommending clearing extra lines in config.php and adjust admin settings( which I cannot do), but that didn't help.
I'm looking for any ideas or suggestions on how to fix it or a place to start looking.

    Thanks

Does this happen for everyone on your site, or just yourself?

        Try this:

Please reset your cookie path and cookie domain variables. These should not be set unless you have multiple vBulletin installations on the same domain name. You can reset these using tools.php.

        Follow these steps.

        1) Upload tools.php from your "do_not_upload" folder. This should go into your admincp directory.

        2) Load this in your browser by going to: yourforums/admincp/tools.php

        3) Enter your customer ID.

        4) Click on Reset Cookie Path and Reset Cookie Domain.

        5) Delete tools.php from your server.

        6) See if you can login.

If I can't get tools.php to work, would that mean there is problem with my php settings?

                Not necessarily no.

Please try the above first and see what that does.

You don't need to. You just enter your customer number. As long as that's the same as the customer number it relates to, you will get in.

Right I know what your saying. My customer number didn't do anything. So, now, I'm thinking it's php problem.
I tried to do a search on my site and that didn't work either.
I checked through my phpinfo.php and found my post_max_size was cranked up to 4000M.
I took it down to 40M and now everything works fine.

Thanks for your help. If I hadn't tried tools.php, I never would have considered it to be a php problem.
