For all I know, this isn't even possible, but I'm giving it a shot.
A few years ago I shut down my 3.8 site just because I was bored with it. Well, I decided I'm bored again and I want to re-upload the files and get it going again, if only to browse old posts for my own personal amusement.
The original domain has since been bought by an SEO backlink spammer, so I'm using a domain and host I currently use.
I created a new SQL DB and uploaded, via phpMyAdmin, a backup I had made right before I shut the site down. The import seems to have performed flawlessly (according to phpMyAdmin) but when I try to go to the subdirectory the forum is located in, I get a blank white page. No errors, no nothing, just a blank white page.
I'm pretty sure I've got everything set up correctly. Operative word there is "pretty", since I obviously don't, otherwise I'd be perusing through old threads.
Where's a good starting point to look for what's wrong? Typically I can go off of SQL error numbers, but I'm not even getting those?
