I've written a custom script which loads bounced forum notification emails and automatically moves the affected users to the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" user group. It works perfectly, but I just now realized these users, even after they have been moved to the un-confirmed user group, are still being sent subscribed thread notifications and forum digest emails.
Is there any way to prevent these emails from being sent for that usergroup?
EDIT: After more digging, I decided to set the awkwardly-named "This Usergroup is not a 'Banned' Group" to "No" for the "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" group. According to the setting description, these users won't receive any subscription emails. I've also updated the phrases so the no-permission error messages these users receive are more appropriate.
