How to mass delete private messages

If there's an option in the Admin CP to mass delete all the private messages or those older than x days then I couldn't find it. What's one way to do it?

I don't believe there is any such default option. I would encourage your users to prune their own messages instead of pruning them yourself and having users confused at why their messages are gone.

Is there a specific reason you're looking at deleting private messages? They normally do not consume much space.

I've been looking for a solution like this as well... there is no point in me keeping the private messages of members I've banned. If they are banned, they can't get to their PMs anyway.
