plugins un-installed but they still show in side menu in ACP

I had more than an handful of plugins installed on the vb 3.8.7 forum, and I had disabled and removed lots of them as well via ACP - uninstall product.
But these plugins are still existing in the side menu of the AcP. I don't know how to remove them from there, can some one guide me into this.

I have at least 5 menus useless in the side menu and few in the vboptions

You haven't removed all the files associated with them - you need to do this, in particular any in the includes/xml directory
