Cannot access sub-forum pages past certain number

A weird thing just began happening to my 3.8.4 forum. I have several sub-forums I use for RSS feeds. The feeds are fairly active, and every day I need to delete a large number of posts in order to keep the groups manageable. Typically what I will do is look at each group, and limit the amount of pages to 6, and delete everything that spills over onto 7 pages.

I go to do the work this morning, which I've been doing for years, and I cannot access anything past page 6. If I click on "last page" or "page 7", the last page I will go to is 6. The same thing happens for all these RSS sub-forums on my site now.

Do I need to re-build indexes or some other maintenance function?

      Sure, Thanks Steve..

Try clicking on "last page" in the navigation bar at the top of the messages (I can't remember what that little navigation bar is called..the breadcrumb menu?)

I don't understand. I have my permissions for this group setup to allow those who are unregistered/not logged in to be able to view this forum. No one is allowed to post to it, but guests should be able to see it..here is a .gif of what I see when I click the link I provided.Click image for larger version

I just don't understand that..do you have any idea what could be doing this? If someone else could please try clicking on that link and verify this I'd appreciate it.

I'm dumbfounded..I've never had a problem like that other than some sort of a forum permissions mixup. Can you try this one Steve and see what you come up with?

I can see that link fine.

My guess is that you have custom permissions for that other forum that does not allow guests to view thread content.

OK, well that's a little progress I have my permissions set as follows..all I want is for a non-registered visitor to be able to see everything there, just not post into the group.
