"New Posts" to show new posts in bold and read posts in regular font?

My members have been asking if our "New Posts" link can be changed to show the new posts in bold (like it does) and read posts underneath in regular font. Right now, all it shows is posts that have not been read. They say they see it this way on other vBulletin forums so I'm assuming there is a way to change it.

Does this have to do with the thread/forum read marking type setting? Or something else I'm not seeing?

In the templates, change all instances of do=getnew to do=getdaily.

I didn't realize all they were asking for is the "Today's Posts" version. Easy enough.
