Can login to admincp, but not in forum login

Somehow I can login to the admincp, but me (admin) and the rest of the people can't log in via the normal forum login.

It gives a password or username not valid error.

If you can log into the Admin CP using your credentials as the admin, you should automatically be logged into the forum as well (at least, that's how it does it for me) - otherwise the same login information should work on the forum login screen as well.
