Please ensure that you have the Hourly Cleanup cron job running in AdminCP > Scheduled Tasks > Scheduled Task Manager. Also check the Scheduled Task Manager Logs to make sure that it has been running OK.

If not, you will need to ensure your footer template contains the following lines:

    Code:
<!-- Do not remove cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->
        $cronimage
<!-- Do not remove cronimage or your scheduled tasks will cease to function -->
If not, the Cron jobs will not run.

What happens exactly? Can you log into your forums?

Since the Admin CP does not use the session table, the cause is elsewhere.
