    vBulletin Database Error

    Hello,

    I've been getting a truckload of database errors. I'm a newbie to managing my forum... and websites in general. Most of the errors say somethign like:

    Database error in vBulletin :

    mysql_connect() [<a href='function.mysql-connect'>function.mysql-connect</a>]: Too many connections/home/forums2/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 311

    I see that is says "too many connections" - does that mean I need to get more quota on my server? Or what is it that I need to enlarge so that I don't get these errors?

    It means that your forum or shared environment is active enough where you are running out of the allotted mysql database connection capacity; basically your ISP is limited you, because of your forum or your neighbors'.
