    php Upgrade

I have a site that is currently running vBulletin 3.8.4, on a server that has php4. I would like to upgrade that to php5... will this require the board be re-installed? Or will it be able to handle the upgrade?

What version of php are you upgrading to specifically? There may be issues with 5.3 however upgrading vB will resolve this

Upgrading to 5.2.12. Trying for 5.3 because the other domain is running vBulletin4, but this one isn't looking to do that upgrade now. Should be fine then?

Does 3.8.5 do ok on php5.3? I am sure it will work, I am just concerned about it breaking with an upgrade.

I'm running 3.8.6 on php 5.3.2 with no problems
3.8.4 and 3.8.5 worked fine as well.
