vBulletin blog on Facebook via RSS

I run several vBulletin forum installations. I have a Facebook fan page set up to show my vBulletin blog on one of my sites; here is the RSS feed:

Here is the Facebook page:

http://www.facebook.com/DPNowblog

I have two questions:

a) Maybe it's a Facebook issue, but it can take several days before a blog update to appear on my Facebook page - is this normal?

b) I would prefer to show only an excerpt (just a few lines) of my blog updates to drive traffic to my site. Can this be done, and how?

a. it would be a facebook issue, or you can ask at vbulletin.org... does your latest post show in the actual feed quick enough for you?
b. Yes but not by default AFAIK.. you would need to ask at the Org to see if there is a mod to limit the snippet.

I think updates are on the feed at the forum fairly quickly (within the hour).

I will have a look at vbulletin.org as suggested.
