    New Members?

At my forum, http://turftopics.com I moderate every new signup. I get about 1 legit new signup every so often. I get 50 spam signups a day!!!

Now some of those I can moderate and delete from the moderate users section, no problem.

But a lot of those do not show up there and I have to go to users/list new registrations, and then delete them one by one. With always having to go to the list new reg link.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there another way? Is there a way to get them all to be under the moderate users part?

    Thank you.

As long as you have user moderation turned on they should all be going to the users awaiting moderation usergroup.

Make sure you are as up to date as possible (running 3.8.5)

I just upgraded to 4.0.4 about 3 weeks ago and this is still happening.

Some new registers go into moderation, others I have to go to list new registrations and delete them 1 at a time.

Any help? It sucks having to delete them one at a time.

      Thank you

Your best bet is to use reCAPTCHA. You should check into it. It's a stock vBulletin "human verification" option.

I've always found that Q&A is a better option.

Odd, I've always found reCAPTCHA better. I guess it just kind of depends on the configuration and prevention measures put into place.
