I think no matter what I do now is that they have a backdoor. I guess I need to find it.

Hi I have this problem on my forum. I was wondering if someone who is experienced with this problem on here would want to be hired to fix this problem for me. If you google my username followed by "forum" you will find my board. I have temporarily shut off VBSEO but I would like to solve this problem once and for all.Comment

So this problem has to be the vBSEO plugin. After ridding my site of this malware for awhile, it has come back. The only explanation is that the vBSEO plugin has a exploit that they have still failed to take care of. The reason I do not know. Maybe it's beyond their control. They have tried to blame it on the server companies, but we know this isn't true.
Can anyone tell me how to rid my site of vBSEO without causing too much damage? Redirects? ect. I have a fairly large site. See my sig link below.

I have also heard that http://sucuri.net/ is a trusted site for getting rid of malware problems. Can anyone verify this?Comment

Talk to vBSEO about redirects because you no longer want to run the product. They typically can help with that tuff.Comment

So I ended up paying $90 for http://sucuri.net/ to fix the redirect malware issue. It is a combination of exploits in plugins (vBSEO) and a setting in earlier version of PHP. See here for more info... http://www.vbseo.com/blogs/rafael-be...w-prevent-361/Comment

I confirm this is going on with 4.2.1 with a redirect going to myfilestore.com. How and where this is taking place is under investigation right now. It is apparent that it takes place from a google search for a specific site page and we are thrust to a redirect site when no cookies or session is yet present. This may be a new revelation if people are unaware of it taking place with 4.2.1 I assure you it is. I just incurred 3 traffic tickets to get back to my office from out of state to deal with this problem.Comment
