Unable to login to migrated server

Dear all,

i've just moved my forum 3.8 from the old server to the new one.
Upload of files and database was ok, the only thing i have modified is the destination.

On the original server the forum was under /forum

while on the new one it's in the main directory, also because i want to upgrade to 4.x.

I have modified the forumpath in the includes/config.php and i'm able to see the new forum, but when i try to login ither as user or admin it recognized my user but it sends me back to login page.

What can i do?

Try clearing all cookies from your machine, close all browser windows and try again.

If this doesn't help, you may need to reset the cookie path by using the tools.php file from the 'do_not_upload' folder in your package download.

Clear cookies, cache, try again. If that fails, try a different browser. If that also fails, upload tools.php and play with the cookie path.
