Lock forum attachments

One of the discussion areas on our board is a private area only accessible by
premium supporting members. On one forum in this area we're considering
placing a spreadsheet attachment of all supporting members contact info due
to popular request so that these supporting members can contact one another
easily.
We're concerned with security issues.
Is there a way to lock an entire forum or attachment so that it cannot be copied,
downloaded or otherwise duplicated...it should be READ ONLY.

No. Simply by allowing it to be displayed to the screen, a member can print it, screenshot it, or save the file to disk (in IE, File -> Save As).

One could also right-click the link to the attachment, and Save Target As, bypassing any security measures you attempt..... even if you add Javascript to turn off right-clicks, a Firefox user can turn it back on again.

What you might consider is adding custom "contact information" profile fields to your vBulletin, and adding conditions to the members About Me tabs on their profiles to limit the display of this information to other supporting members. However, this would be better discussed on vBulletin.org as it'd be changing the default vBulletin code.
