I would only consider upgrading to VB v4.0 after it seems to have been perfect for six months then I might, I would never put myself through all these issues some people go through messing with unstable software. I don't know why they do it but it's AOK with me if they do. It does provide good forum reading, lol Merry Christmas, Terry
PS: I have NO Complaints with v4.0 because I have not touched it!Comment

In my opinion releasing the vb 4 is only good for IPB to gain more shares of the market... I already know banch of people switching to IPB..

I'm using a leased copy of 3.8. When the time comes to renew, MUST I upgrade to 4.0?

A lot of people cannot upgrade to vb4 simply because it requires php 5.2
Many others because it doesnt work well in IE6.
3.8.x should continue to be supported for the moment (and afaik, it will be, IB have not said otherwise).Baby, I was born this wayComment
