    RSS update - How to make it update quicker

    Is there any way to change how quick the RSS feed is updated? I have this one

    This website is for sale! blackberryos.com is your first and best source for all of the information you’re looking for. From general topics to more of what you would expect to find here, blackberryos.com has it all. We hope you find what you are searching for!

    which is for the front page news but it seems like it takes up to an hour before it updates and sent out RSS.

    Id love it if I could change the time so its quicker.

    This is a setting under vBulletin settings- the default is 60 minutes, so you'll probably want to set it to something lower.

      Where in vbulletin settings? In the vbulletin options or the scheduled tasks? I tried changing the time for the "daily digest" feature, thinking that was it but it was not.

        vboptions> external database provider > cache

        Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

        If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

            I came across this thread that seemed to maybe help me out.

            I've had a successful RSS. However, I wanted to increase the amount of content that it submitted in a thread. I made 2 changes:

            Convert HTML to BB Code. NO

            And added in the body template: content:encoded

            What was there before was:

            {feed:description}

            More...
            changed to:

            {feed:description}

            content:encoded

            More...
            When an item came through, the content was all HTML and just not readable. So I deleted the new thread, reverted back to before, and now can't get that the new submission back.

            Do I just delete the RSS then remake it?

            Edit: Yup that did it.

            I would like to know if that was the only way to resolve though.

            Also, how does one increase the amount of content from a RSS? The vB help is sparse on explaining what can be done. Can I get a more elaborate manual with examples and such. I'm just interested in content that is simple text and images.

            Thanks
