What is that? I have no idea
I searched the forums and didn't find the answer

Users can opt to receive an email summary of the posts made on a daily basis to save them having to visit the forums and browse through them.
    Vote for:

A user can subscribe to a topic in various ways, with and without email.

Without email: They get no email, but they are subscribed. Their user control panel shows their subscribed threads, the default usercp.php page will list all active conversations that had new replies since last visit to that topic.

With email: They get an email, informing them there are one or more updates to the topic they've subscribed to.
      - instant : the email is sent as soon as possible
      - daily : once a day the user gets a digest email
      - weekly : once a week the user gets a digest email

Digest works on forums, and individual threads.

A bonus option is subscribing to the rss feed of a thread, the board, or one of its forums. These are limited to public content only though as 3.x doesn't support accounts

So when I see a "Daily Digest" sent means that vb has sent emails to subscribing members?

Does this Daily Digest have any impact on performance or server load?
