As you can see in the "Set Default" row, I needed to change the setting from "Yes, but No First Blank Option" to "Yes, Including a First Blank Option" and save it...Done...

Running 3.8.2, but did this back in 3.7 days...

A while ago I created a custom field where members can choose their political affiliation (Conservative, Liberal, Green, etc.) in their profile...(I run a political discussion website)...

I noticed that the "default" is "Conservative" since that's the first option...Of course, if a new member doesn't touch it, it puts them into that catagory by default...not good...

I'd like to add the option "Unknown" or "Not Given" and put that at the top of the list of options so the member will have that as a default until they manually change it...

Problem is I can't remember where the heck I did that stuff...I know it's a darn custom field someplace...

Can I get a hint?...
