Make a new display mode & Removing Code

    Two quick questions here:

    1. Is it possible for me to create a new display mode for vbulletin on the threadview? Currently there are three, linear etc.
    2. If I remove the code which displays things like the thread tags, posting permissions etc, does the php code still get processed by the server and not displayed?

    1. Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

    2. Depends on what you mean exactly.

      1. Thats ok, I was referring to custom code.
      2. I mean, if you delete the code that displays the information, do the PHP still process the information, regardless of if it is displayed. Sorry if this isnt clear.

That depends on what code you delete.
