Supported attachment's extensions

I have been searching for the answer, but was unable to find it.

Which kinds of attachment are supported? My users want to upload everything: pdf, winrar, wmv and so on.

I know I can add new extensions via the Attachment Manager. But which file types are supported?

Everything is supported, If you go into the attachment manager, you can see the pre-loaded default attachment types. If those do not suite your needs, add whatever you need.
