    time out vs who's online

Running into an issue, we have the inactivity time out at 900 seconds, which is also apparently linked up to the who's online.

when user's are playing games for a while or leave and come back it is logging them out automatically.

we would like to change this to no auto logoff, but if it is going to cause everyone to show up as always online as well.

is there any way to go about fixing the session issues without having everyone show online 24/7?

Tell them to click on the 'Remember me' box when they login. This will keep them logged in as long as they are not blocking cookies, assuming of course you have no modifications that broke this.

Who's on: Are those who are active and keep refreshing the page. If a user is within a game. The board will think that the user is idling, therefore, he/she will no longer show on the "Who's online" list.

Timeout: Are those users that are idling and will appear offline. It will not auto log them out unless they have cookies disable and/or didn't click on "remember me" when he/she refreshes the page.
