Private Message not showing Sent Items

On this forum vbulletin.com I have a problem displaying Private Messages which were sent. The last items showing are from 2008 and older. I just sent a Private Message to myself and it will not show in the Sent Items folder.

Anyone else have this problem?

Check your user options (User CP > Settings & Options > Edit Options), in the Private Messaging section. Make sure the box is ticked at Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default.

I have never seen that option. I have 3.7.4 and don't have that option. Is this a new feature?

Yes, I believe it was introduced in 3.8.0 or shortly after in one of the maintenance releases.

I suggest vbulletin.com run a query to change all members default as checked. Then the one person who would actually like to not save their sent PM's could uncheck it.
