How to make a private forum?

Hi, I'm trying to set up a private forum where only the premium and life time members can use. I set up one using the forum manager then made sure to set the right permission from the Forum permission. Only the desired usergroups can view, post, etc..
when I logged off I can still see it and access it as Unregistered which defeat the purpose.
What am I doing wrong? I would also want the last post remains private:

There is a setting for that:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options -> Show Private Forums

You can also override this setting for individual forums:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit Forum -> Show Private Forum
