Waves of human spam ho's using gmail

We are getting 5~12 spam accounts a day, almost all using gmail. I have a set of NoSpam questions in place, so they must be human, not bots, correct?

Question: if I set @gmail.com in the ADMIN CP > vBULLETIN OPTIONS > USER BANNING OPTIONS > Banned Email Addresses

will that prevent new users from joining with gmail accounts, and will that affect existing members who have gmail accounts?

Yes. It will prevent new members from using GMail accounts and will not affect current members with gmail addys.

Goto http://www.stopforumspam.com and look at the vB plugin they have - its worked for me and stopped over 1000 spammers so far in the past month

Well, when I try to sign up with their forum, it won't let me: "Spammer detected."

Lol, what? I hope their tools are more accurate than that.
