Thanks, Akworm. I have tried looking for the correct place to insert something between usercp and articles and can't find where to place it.

Find this in the navbar template:

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="usercp.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[user_cp]</a></td>

And right after it, add this, making the correct substitutions.

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="[COLOR=Red]URL[/COLOR]">[COLOR=Red]TEXT[/COLOR]</a></td>

Of course it would be even nicer to use the $template_hook[navbar_buttons_left] hook so you don't change the template.

In Navbar template find:

<!-- nav buttons bar -->
<div class="tborder" style="padding:$stylevar[cellspacing]px; border-top-width:0px">
 <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center">
 <tr align="center"> 

and directly below

<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="URL">TEXT</a></td> 

that will put the link before the IF condition for members.
