hack warning

Hi there. I received a threat to my forum with the warning that it would be hacked with this tool (acunetix), I want to know how vulnerable is my vb 3.8.4 to such a tool and what measures should I take.

There is no known exploits in 3.8.4 as of right now. Though, you may wish to read this thread and follow instructions in there to make your forum more secure: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=172234

I installed the free version and set it to run here on vbulletin.com... It crashed about 10 minutes or so in. However, from the looks of it, that's not a hacking tool, but a tool to scan for possible vlunabilities (and if it is able to find anything, it'd be up for the person running to tool to decide what to do with it). I don't think you have a whole lot to worry about though.
