Attachment File Path

Hi everyone,
I'm fairly oblivious when it comes to server-related issues. What path would I specify in the Attachment File Path field for moving attachments from the database and into the file system?

What path is that field relative to? Is it the web server's root (wwwroot, public_html, etc.?) or is the path rooted at the location of the forums (example.com/forum/?)?

The easiest and safest thing to do is choose a directory above the public web directory and use the full and complete path to that directory on this server.

Note: On Unix/Linux systems you can find the complete path name by telnetting or sshing into your server, going to that directory and typing:

pwd

[kirupa]
