    Archive Problem

Hi guys and gals hopefully someone will be able to help me. I run an automotive forum and was wondering it there are settings attached to the archive as it seems it is throwing threads into the archive after a couple of weeks, this is starting to become very annoying as i have to bring them out all the time.

    Cheers Retta

    What archive?

Threads aren't 'sent' to an archive, it's just another way of viewing them.

Well down the bottom right of my forum I have an archive tab, and when they have no new posts posted in the threads after a couple of weeks, they move to the archive.

It's not an archive in the sense that you are meaning. It's just another way of viewing the same threads. The content should be the same in both, unless you've installed modifications.

Well then i dont understand why my threads go from my main forum into the archive, i have had to pull them out twice already in two months. They disappear from one and go into the other.

A link to your site may help.

It sounds like you have a modification installed.

I have members saying they cant find their threads, so I have to go into the archive and get them out by making a new post.
