Disable avatar uploading from website?

How can I disable avatar uploading from a website? I can upload avatars from my computer but when someone tries to upload one from a website they get this message:

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file

There is no specific setting for that. You would have to remove that option from the appropriate templates.

If you'e rather solve the problem then enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this.
