Hey there,
I have a web application that will parse markup passed to it based on some parameters from the URL that it is presented with. An example would be:
http://example.com/Parser?user='wayne'&content='[markup]'
What this will return is the parsed content of 'content'. An example of what is returned is:
<a href="http://example.com/Markup">Markup</a>
but when I put the following string into the BB code manager (as an example we will call the new tag "customtag":
http://example.com/Parser?user='wayne'&content='{param}'
and I try the code:
[customtag]markup{/customtag]
all I get back is:
http://example.com/Parser?user='wayne'&content='markup'
instead of the html markup. I could understand if the vbulleting application was parsing out the HTML, but all I am getting is the string.
How do I get the output to render the HTML? Should this be using some sort of embed tag or something?
