    Missing forum content

    Hi,

Having a problem that happens when I click on the first level category link for the forums, normally when I click on this every level below it would just display a level up however when I click on it all of the forum content disppears.

There is a hint to the problem in the URL as the parent and child appear on the same level. I'm not sure why this is occuring as the First Level category is set to be the parent for all the forums.

Any help would be great. Thanks. Cam.

Basically the problem is involved with the different levels of the forum categories, at the moment we have 3 levels,

      1 Forum > 2 Forum Categories > 3 Forum Sub Categories

The top level 'forum' has act as forum set to no. The forum categories all have the parent category set to the top level 'forum.'

Normally in vbulletin when the top level category is clicked on it then displays the child elements within it but dispayed a level up on what they were. So clicking on 'Forum' would display...

1 Forum Categories > 2 Forum Sub Categories

Instead it displays none of the categories.

I hope that's clearer, it's a tough one to explain

        The site is www.hrbuzz.com.au

If you click on a forum, say Recruitment

then in the breadcrumbs click on the "HR Forums" link, that will demonstrate the problem

Cant tell exactly what settings you need. But go to:
          AdminCP>vBulletin Options>vBulletin options>Forum Listings Display Options

Thanks for the suggestion but that doesn't seem to be it. We have another vBulletin site which does not have this problem and all the settings in that section are exactly the same on both sites.

I had a look in Forum Display Options (forumdisplay) but nothing in there helps either.

I just realised, we're running vBa CMPS on the site that is displaying this problem, but we don't have vBa CMPS on the other site.

I suspect vBa CMPS may be the cause of the problem
