it's not working anymore...I really can't understand why.

I just replaced the old files with the new ones in the upload folder.

        Did you run http://yoursite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php ?

Also make sure that your FTP is set to overwrite and it is actually working.

I'm only saying this as everything is setup my end to overwrite when I did the 3.8.3 upgrade but I noticed after uploading all the files even though my FTP program said it had uploaded everything all the filedates/sizes were the same and nothing actually got overwrote.

A 'feature' of my host which has now been changed.

Upload again everything and make sure it overwrites the existing files on the server.
                  Run upgrade.php

I mean that http://yoursite.com/forum/install/upgrade.php brings me to a blank page.

Anyway i'm trying to upload everything again with Core FTP Pro in Windows.

I let you know in few minutes...

Guys i'm only waisting time, i can't fix the problem.
                        My forum seems gone...

I re-uploaded the files lot of times but the forum is not working yet.

Do you guys think could be a problem with the .htaccess file or the config.php file?

Do you have a .htaccess file in your forum root? Try removing it and see if that helps. (Make a copy first )

Your forum / server is giving a http 500 error in your forum root.

Hi guys thanks for your help.
The problem has been solved by modyfing the config.php file.

Now i'm having problem with the .htaccess file.

If i put it in the folder, the forum doesn't work.

                            Anyone has a suggestion?

                              That is a webhost issue.
