Is there a way to remove this feature? Or at least tweak it to make it not break paths when trying to post code for people? A lot of people come here because they need our help and overlook the miscellaneous spaces caused by this feature.

I've come across something strange recently.
If I put a link to a .aspx page in an Article eg.in Vbulletin it's displayed asCode:https://www.xxx.com/webpage.aspx
...Code:https://www.xxx.com/webpage.asp
